Course Description: To ensure students get the most from the course we divide them up into small learning groups based on age and experience. This course suitable both for beginners (or those who have covered some of the basics of coding in Python) and students who have already attended codetoday courses in the past.
We focus on guiding the students to think in a manner that is suitable to communicate with a computer as this is the key to becoming proficient programmers. Our approach is to introduce new topics in sessions delivered to the various groups and then let the students do most of coding with the instructor guiding each pupil. For this reason all our courses have a maximum student-staff ratios of 8 to 1.
We use engaging projects such as writing animations and games through which the fundamental concepts of coding are introduced.
Full details of our courses can be found on the main courses page here: http://www.codetoday.co.uk/courses and please contact us on email@example.com or 020 3289 7431 if you wish to discuss our courses or your son or daughter's requirements further. We recommend that students use their own laptop during the classes as this will make it easier for them to carry on programming after the class. We will send you information on installing the required free software by email. If you will not be able to bring a laptop to the course please let us know as soon as possible. We will be able to provide a laptop for the class if notified at the time of booking. Full course details can be found here: http://www.codetoday.co.uk/courses
