Moving to a Higher Age Group?

Kids grow fast so they won't stay in the same age group forever.

As we progress at a different pace in the different age groups, and we cover more material with older students, the Levels between different age groups do not match.

When moving age group we recommend you follow one of the recommended paths to make sure there are no gaps in knowledge and that your child will not find the new course too difficult.

Below you can find the recommended cross-over points between age groups. If in doubt, please just contact us and we'll be very happy to advise.

Moving from 7-9 to 10-12 age group

If your child is ready to move to the 10-12 age group, we recommend the follow points to swap. The higher age groups cover more material in each Level so you should not simply swap age group without re-adjusting the Level.

The table below shows you the points were you can swap age group. For example, if your child has completed Level 3 at the 7-9 age group, they should then move on to Level 3 at 10-12. This will not be the same course as the one they have just completed.

Moving from 10-12 to 13-16 age group

If your child is ready to move to the 13-16 age group, we recommend the follow points to swap. The higher age groups cover more material in each Level so you should not simply swap age group without re-adjusting the Level.

The table below shows you the points were you can swap age group. For example, if your son or daughter has completed Level 4 at the 10-12 age group, they should then move on to Level 3 at 13-16. This will not be a step back from the course they have just completed, but the next stage within our curriculum.
