With just over a month to go until the Easter holidays it's time for our definitive guide to Easter Holiday coding camps.
It's fair to say codetoday has taken a giant leap forward since our last round of Easter Holiday coding camps. With an ever increasing course programme including; after school coding clubs, private coding sessions, adult coding courses and bespoke corporate training it's pretty clear the demand for Python programming is immense.
We think Python is the best language for anyone to start on a coding journey. It's easy to understand and to write and we've proved we can get anyone coding using Python in a matter of hours. Our Easter Holiday coding camps are no exception. The courses are organised so that we divide students at the very start based on age and ability, this ensures no repetition for returning students and a great beginners introduction for anyone new to codetoday. The emphasis for everyone is moving quickly to actual coding.
One of the things that really sets codetoday camps apart is the emphasis on project work driven by student interests. This really helps to keep children engaged in coding. The expert instructors are great at discovering the interests of the students and then translating these into coding projects.
Conscious that coding skills are developed by hands on coding special attention is paid to what happens next. All students benefit from the additional support after their camp which includes fun projects and access to instructors. We actively encourage the students to keep coding, much the same as you would practice a foreign language outside of lesson time.
