This week we're looking ahead to our Summer term after school courses.
Spring term places sold out in record time so after Easter, the next round of courses are expanding. For the summer term after school coding courses we're delighted that we have secured use of the amazing JW3 venue on Finchley Rd which allows us to run 4 sessions weekly, adding two sessions on Tuesdays for 7-10 and 11-14 year olds.
Swiss Cottage Library on Thursdays will continue as normal.
Dates and times
Tuesdays JW3 in Hampstead
21 April - 7 July
8-11 year olds, 4:30-5:30
12-14 year olds, 5:30-6:30
Thursdays, Swiss Cottage Library
23 April - 9 July
7-10 year olds, 4:45- 5:45pm
11-14 year olds, 5pm-6pm
Sessions are designed for complete beginners or those with a little coding experience. Students are taught all the fundamentals of coding in Python and start creating their first piece of code right from the start. Expert course instructors then guide them through the codetoday curriculum which heavily emphasises project work and exploring the students' interests in code.
The courses are a brilliant introduction to the language of the 21st century using Python, a fully featured coding language used by companies like Google. This is of vital importance to codetdoay as we don't believe children should be taught coding using languages with no practical applications.
The best way to keep up to date with codetoday courses is to register your interest. We will then send you all the course information, priority booking notification and place availability.
